Hola All,
Right. So today we are start with a history lesson.... many many years ago some birds lived in some trees. then they moved into a cave bloody miles from anywhere and started making noises that reminded me worryingly of the sound a Gremlin makes when you drip water onto it.... Every night when its about 75% dark (i have no idea either) they all come screeching out of the cave into the jungle. These birds are called Guácharos or Oil Birds, there will be a test when i get back.
So, i am currently on a beach internet cafe with palm trees swaying gently in the light Caribbean breeze, waves tentatively lapping against the golden brown sand and beautifully tanned women walking around in front of me in next to nothing, seriously, i REALLY wish i was back in England. REALLLLY, please, if you can detect any sarcasm here it is false, seriously, i hate it here, give me the accounts office at Toyway sitting in a stuffy room on an uncomfortable chair doing sums i have no idea what for ANYDAY to this, this, this heavenly corner of Gods green (beachy) earth....
Ok, so you know about the cave, the beach where i am staying...oh, did i mention that when i set foot outside my bedroom door, i step onto the pre-mentioned golden sandy beach with waves that tentatively lapping and the palm trees a-swaying and the gorgeous people wearing next to a-nothing? No? Ahh, there you go then.
And i'm afraid, dear friends that’s about all i have done in the past week. They have this holiday called 'Easter' over here, not sure what it is exactly, maybe something religious but i really have no idea, but it means that everything shuts down and that i am pretty much trapped in here in paradise for another week, oh hell!
